My kid thinks elderberry gummies are candy—help!
Okay, so I bought those elderberry gummies for immune support, right? Big mistake. My 5-year-old found the bottle and now he's obsessed. He thinks they're candy and throws a fit every time I only give him one. I've hidden them, but he's like a bloodhound. Anyone else deal with this? How do you keep them from eating the whole bottle?
Haha, classic. I don't have kids but my girlfriend does the same with my zinc gummies. She'd eat the whole bottle if I let her. I have to keep them in a locked cabinet. Maybe get a child-proof container or hide them in a different spot? Or just be firm and explain they're medicine. Good luck!
Yep, been there. My son calls them 'yummy vitamins' and tries to sneak them. I found him standing on a chair reaching for the top shelf. Now I keep them in a high cabinet behind my protein powder. Also, maybe try the ones with a less candy-like flavor? Some are more tart, might be less appealing. But honestly, they're all tasty.
Haha, that's adorable and terrifying. I don't have kids but I can imagine. I'm a digital nomad, so I'm always on the move. I keep my supplements in a locked portable safe. Maybe you could get one of those? Or just hide them in a place he won't look, like in a cereal box? That's what my grandma did with her cookies.
