Traveling with elderberry gummies – do they melt? TSA okay?

Headed on a cross-country flight tomorrow, and I wanna bring my elderberry gummies to keep my immune system up. But I’m worried about them melting in my carry-on or getting flagged by TSA. Anyone have experience flying with gummy vitamins? Also going on a long hike after – will they survive in a backpack in the sun?

I travel a lot with my gadgets and gummies! TSA hasn’t bothered me with gummies in carry-on – just keep them in the original bottle or a clear bag. As for melting, elderberry gummies are pretty stable, but if it's hot, they can get sticky. I'd recommend an insulated pouch or a small lunch bag with an ice pack. For hiking, keep them in a shaded pocket, not right next to your body. Or you could try those silicone travel tubes – they’re airtight and prevent squishing.

Make sure you check the ingredients! Some brands use sugar or corn syrup which can make them melt more easily. Sugar-free versions usually have a higher melting point because of the sugar alcohols like maltitol. I always take sugar-free on trips – no sticky mess. And yeah, TSA is fine with supplements. Just don't bring a huge jar; a small travel-sized container is best.

Thanks guys! I’ll look for a sugar-free option next time. For now, I’ll use an insulated pouch and keep them in my personal bag away from direct sun. Appreciate the tips!
