Hey everyone, been taking these elderberry gummies for about a week now (the berry blast flavor ones). Noticed something weird - my pee has turned super bright yellow, almost neon! It's not painful or anything, just...vivid. Has anyone else experienced this with elderberry supplements? Should I be concerned?

OP, first thing - what's the ingredient list? Some gummies use artificial colors that can definitely affect urine color. I had a similar thing with a turmeric gummy once - turned everything sunset orange! If it's just colorants from the gummy, probably harmless, but check if there's riboflavin (B2) in there too - that's a classic bright-yellow pee culprit. Taste-wise, are the gummies overly sweet? Sometimes excess vitamins + sweeteners do weird things.

Honestly, this is why I stick to whole foods. Elderberries? Just eat the real thing, maybe in a tea. No weird additives, no mystery dyes. That said, bright urine is usually just your body flushing out excess B vitamins - not harmful but maybe a sign you're over-supplementing. Are you taking anything else? Might be stacking too many synthetics.

LOL my fitness tracker actually has a urine color chart feature (weird, I know)! Bright yellow usually means you're well-hydrated but might have excess vitamins. Have you tried using a health app to log this? Could be useful data. Also, are the gummies shaped fun? Sometimes the dye concentration varies by piece - maybe try cutting one open to see if the color is super intense inside?
