Hey everyone! I'm going on a long road trip and then a short flight, and I want to bring my fiber gummies. But I'm worried about them melting in the car or getting flagged by TSA. Any tips? Also, should I store them in a cooler? I don't want a sticky mess!

Great question! As a retired nurse, I've seen a lot of gummy meds get ruined. For TSA, gummies are fine in carry-on or checked, but keep them in the original bottle if you can. As for melting, if it's hot, avoid leaving them in a hot car. A small insulated bag with an ice pack works well. Just don't freeze them.

We travel with our kids' fiber gummies all the time! I put them in a small mason jar and wrap it in a cloth. TSA hasn't ever bothered us. Pro tip: if they do melt, you can pop them in the fridge to resolidify. Not as pretty but still fine!

From a med student perspective, heat can break down some ingredients. If you're worried, buy a small travel cooler or just keep them in your personal bag away from direct sun. TSA-wise, solid supplements are no issue. Liquid fiber might be a different story, but gummies are fine.

Keto here - I avoid fiber gummies cuz of sugar, but for travel, I use a metal tin. Keeps them from squishing. Heat is less of a problem if they're in a dark bag. Honestly, they're pretty stable. I'd say just don't leave them on the dashboard! 😂
