THREAD: Fiber gummies on sale at Costco - too good to be true?Started by OP

Hey everyone, just saw a huge tub of fiber gummies at Costco for like half the price I usually pay at my local pharmacy. The brand looks legit, but I'm kinda skeptical. Is this a legit steal, or does the lower price mean they're cutting corners on quality somehow? Has anyone tried these?

OP, I feel you! I'm always hunting for deals on supps. I grabbed those Costco fiber gummies last month - honestly, they work just as well as the pricier ones I used to get. No digestive issues, and the ingredient list looks solid. My take? It's a bulk discount thing. If you go through them regularly, def a steal. Just check the expiry date!

As a parent, I'm super picky about what goes into our bodies. Lower price can sometimes mean fillers, artificial colors, or lower-quality fiber sources. Did you check the label for organic certification or sneaky additives? I'd compare it to a trusted brand like Garden of Life. If it's clean, go for it! But if it has 'natural flavors' or corn syrup, hard pass.

Interesting question! From a science perspective, price doesn't always correlate with efficacy. Many store-brand or bulk supplements use the same active ingredients (e.g., inulin, psyllium) as name brands. The cost difference often comes from marketing, packaging, or retailer margins. Look for third-party testing seals (USP, NSF) on the label - that's a better quality indicator than price. Costco's Kirkland brand is generally reputable.
