Hey all, need some advice. Looking to get a fun health gift for my dad (age 65) and my best friend who's super into fitness. I was thinking of getting them each a bottle of fiber gummies, but i'm not sure which brand or what to look for. Any suggestions? They both struggle with digestion occasionally, but my friend is really picky about sugar and stuff.

OP, definitely check if they have any dietary restrictions. For your fitness friend, look for sugar-free options and maybe added prebiotics. My go-to is the 'Fiber Fusion' brand – they have a sugar-free version with chicory root. My dad (65 too) prefers the ones with added vitamins, like the 'Complete Health' gummies. Just make sure they don't contain any artificial sweeteners if your friend is strict.

I second the prebiotic idea! I started taking fiber gummies last year for gut health, and it's been a game-changer. For your dad, maybe also consider a 'daily health pack' that includes fiber plus a multivitamin – keeps it simple. For your friend, check if they need extra protein? Not in gummies though lol. Also, always check reviews for taste – some are chalky. I like the 'GutHealth' brand, they have a nice citrus flavor.

Sugar-free is key for sure. But careful: some sugar-free gummies use maltitol which can cause digestive issues. Look for ones sweetened with stevia or monk fruit. I recommend 'PureFiber' gummies – no sugar, no artificial anything, and they use a blend of soluble fibers. For your dad, maybe he'd appreciate a 'complete wellness' pack with fiber, omega-3, and vitamin D? My mom loves that kind of all-in-one.

Thanks everyone! This is super helpful. I'll definitely look into the sugar-free for my friend – didn't know about the maltitol issue. And maybe I'll get my dad a wellness pack with fiber. Gonna check out those brands you mentioned. If anyone else has ideas, keep 'em coming!
