Hey all, I've been experimenting with making my own fiber gummies at home using gelatin and psyllium husk powder. The first batch turned out like rubbery blobs, and the second batch just melted into a puddle in the fridge. What am I doing wrong? I followed a recipe I found online but swapped the sugar for stevia. Any tips?

Oh honey, I feel your pain! I've been there. The key is to bloom the gelatin properly and don't boil it. Also, psyllium husk can be tricky - it absorbs a lot of liquid. Did you adjust the liquid amount? Maybe try using agar instead, it's more forgiving. Let me know your exact ratios!

Bro, for real? You need to use a candy thermometer. Keep the temp around 180°F, not higher. And add a little citric acid or lemon juice to help them set. Also, stevia can affect the gelling process. Maybe try using tapioca syrup or honey as a binder? That worked for me.

I've been making my own gummies for a while now. I use agar-agar and a silicone mold. Make sure you chill them for at least 2 hours, and if they're too soft, add more agar. Also, psyllium is a gel-forming fiber, so it might mess with the texture. Have you tried using just pure fiber powder like apple pectin? That might work better.

Thanks everyone! I think the temp issue might be it - I didn't use a thermometer. And I didn't add any acid. I'll try again with agar and a thermometer. If all fails, I'll just buy your brand, TeaTina haha.
