Is this new fiber gummy study legit or just marketing fluff?

Hey all, just came across this study on inulin fiber gummies and gut health. PMID 34567890. They claim a significant increase in Bifidobacteria after 8 weeks. Sounds too good to be true? Any thoughts on whether it's legit or biased?

I've seen similar studies. The key is who funded it. If it's from a supplement company, take it with a grain of salt. But inulin itself has solid research. Just make sure the dosage and strain are comparable.

As someone on keto, I avoid most gummies because of sugar. But if they're sugar-free and use inulin, that's cool. But yeah, check the funding. Also, gut health studies can be biased by the participants' diet. Just sayin'.

Good point. The study was independent, but I'll double-check the dosage. I'm thinking of trying them for my gut. Do you guys have any brand recommendations that use inulin without sugar?

I personally use a brand that's sweetened with stevia and has 5g of inulin per serving. Works well for me. But remember, start with half dose to avoid bloating!
