Hey everyone, I've been taking these new fiber gummies for about a week (the ones with inulin and chicory root). I swear they're giving me the most vivid, crazy dreams. Like last night I dreamt I was a carrot being chased by a giant rabbit. 😂 Has anyone else experienced this? I googled it but didn't find much. Maybe it's just coincidence? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Interesting! I haven't heard of fiber causing vivid dreams specifically, but gut health can definitely influence sleep and brain function via the gut-brain axis. Inulin is a prebiotic, so it feeds your gut bacteria, which can produce neurotransmitters like serotonin and GABA. Maybe that's affecting your REM sleep? Could also be a placebo effect or just random. Keep us posted!

Hmm, I've been taking fiber gummies for months and never had weird dreams. But I stick to psyllium husk capsules, not gummies. Maybe it's the added ingredients? Those gummies often have sugar alcohols or artificial flavors that might mess with you. I'd check the label. If it's harmless, no big deal, but I prefer good old-fashioned natural fiber.

Dude, I take fiber gummies post-workout and I've had some crazy dreams too! Thought it was just the protein powder. Maybe it's the combo? Either way, as long as it's not keeping you up, who cares? Vivid dreams are kinda fun. But if you're worried, try taking them earlier in the day. That helped me.

Thanks for the replies! AlphaAdam, that gut-brain axis stuff is fascinating. I'll look into it. VeggieVictor727, I checked the label and it has tapioca syrup and cane sugar, so maybe that's it? VeggieVictor306, glad I'm not the only one! I'll try taking them in the morning and see if it changes. Appreciate the input, everyone!
