GOLI gummy drama at my house - help!

Okay, I need to vent and maybe get some advice. My 4-year-old found my GOLI apple cider vinegar gummies yesterday and thought they were candy. He ate like 5 before I caught him! He was totally fine (thank goodness), but now he keeps asking for 'mommy's special candy' and throwing a fit when I say no. Anyone else deal with this? I love these for my post-workout routine but now I'm paranoid about keeping them out of reach.

Oh dear! This is why I always stress proper storage with holistic supplements. Those gummies are packed with good stuff - the mother in the ACV, folate, B12 - but they're not toys. Have you tried explaining they're 'grown-up vitamins'? Kids understand more than we think. Maybe keep them in a locked cabinet? I've seen too many clients have similar scares.

lol my husband did the same thing with my sleep gummies! I work nights so I take the melatonin ones, and he thought they were regular gummies. He ate a few before bed and was knocked OUT cold the next day 😂 Now he calls them 'zombie candy.' But seriously, with kids you gotta be extra careful. I keep mine in the medicine cabinet with child locks.

Thanks both! @EcoEllen I tried the 'grown-up vitamins' talk - he just said 'but they're yummy like candy!' 😅 @ZenZoe46 That's hilarious about your husband! Mine tried one once and hated the texture - said they were too chewy. At least I don't have to worry about him stealing them! Yeah, I moved them to a high shelf in the pantry. Just worried he'll climb someday...

Kids are like little ninjas, they find everything! Maybe get one of those lockboxes? I've seen them at the pharmacy. Or switch to pills? I know it's not the same but safety first! Also maybe try the Goli kids vitamins for him? Then he has his own 'special candy' that's actually good for him. Just a thought!
