Hey everyone, I'm heading out on a trip next week - mix of flying and some hiking. I take GOLI apple cider vinegar gummies daily and don't want to break my routine. Has anyone traveled with these? Do they melt in heat? What about TSA rules - can I just throw them in my carry-on? Any storage tips would be awesome!

As a paleo guy, I'm not big on supplements, but I've taken similar gummies on road trips. They can definitely get sticky if left in a hot car! I keep mine in a cooler bag with my other perishables. For hiking, I use a small insulated pouch. TSA-wise, they're fine in carry-on - just make sure they're in original packaging or labeled clearly to avoid questions.

DIY enthusiast here - I've actually tested melting points on various gummies! GOLI's hold up decently up to about 90°F, but beyond that they'll start to fuse together. Pro tip: Put them in a hard container (like a pill case) rather than the soft bottle they come in. For flights, TSA treats them like any other supplement - no liquid restrictions since they're solid. I'd recommend keeping them in your personal item rather than checked luggage where temps fluctuate more.

Supplement skeptic chiming in - why bother with these at all while traveling? The sugar content alone makes them questionable, and if they're melting, that's just more proof they're not stable. Save yourself the hassle and just eat real food. But if you insist, at least keep them away from direct sunlight - that UV degradation isn't doing the (questionable) ingredients any favors.

Skeptical mom here - I travel with my kids' vitamins sometimes. Gummies absolutely melt! I learned the hard way on a summer road trip - ended up with one sticky mess in my bag. Now I always use a small insulated lunch bag with an ice pack if I'll be in heat. TSA has never stopped me, but I keep them in original bottles so they look legit. Maybe consider a daily pill organizer instead if you're worried about melting?
