Traveling with GOLI Gummies – Will They Melt on a Road Trip?
Hey folks! I'm heading on a week-long road trip through the Southwest and I want to bring my GOLI gummies for some energy boost. But temps are hitting 100+ where I'm going. Do these things melt in a bag? Any tips for keeping them solid? Also, I'll be crossing state lines – any TSA issues if I stash them in my carry-on? Help a girl out!
I took my GOLIs on a plane to Florida last month. No issues with TSA at all – I just kept them in the original bottle in my carry-on. They didn't melt, but I was paranoid so I wrapped the bottle in a damp paper towel. 😂 For your road trip, an insulated lunch bag with an ice pack should do the trick. Avoid leaving them in direct sunlight!
lol I've left mine in the car in Texas heat and they got a little soft but not fully melted. They kinda turned into one big gummy blob but still tasted fine. If you're worried, pop them in a cooler. TSA doesn't care about gummy vitamins, they're not liquids. I've flown with them multiple times. You're good!
Pro tip: decant them into a small airtight container and put that inside a vacuum-sealed bag if you're really worried. But honestly, GOLIs hold up better than most gummies. For the road trip, keep them in your cooler or at least in the shade. If they do melt, you can always fridge them overnight and they'll harden back up. Enjoy the trip!
