Unexpected side effect: better skin?? Anyone else?
So I started the GOLI gummies for sleep (the melatonin ones) about 3 weeks ago. I gotta say, sleep is a bit better but nothing crazy. BUT this morning I noticed my skin looks... clearer? I've had these stubborn little bumps on my forehead for months and they're gone. Is this a thing? Anyone else experience random side effects?
Whoa, same here! I take the apple cider vinegar ones for digestion, but a few days ago I realized my nails are stronger and my hair looks shinier. I'm not complaining, but it's weird. Maybe it's the biotin or something they sneak in there? Guess I'll take it!
Haha, I thought I was the only one. I use the energy gummies pre-workout (the ones with B12 and caffeine). My stamina is definitely better, but the real surprise? My mood. I've been less cranky at work. Maybe it's the sugar rush? But I'll take it. Could be the vitamin D? I'm always deficient in winter.
The placebo effect is real, but also look at the ingredients. Most of these gummies have a blend of B-vitamins and sometimes biotin, which is known to improve skin/hair/nails. Also, if you're sleeping better, that helps skin renewal. So it's not that far-fetched. I'm a big fan of the science behind them, honestly.
MountainMike539 - the sleep ones also have magnesium, which can help with skin inflammation. And the ACV ones have probiotics that might affect your gut-skin axis. So yes, it's legit. Welcome to the world of getting more than you paid for, lol.
