Just saw this article. I've been giving my kid those magnesium gummies for sleep, and now I'm worried. Anyone have more info? Here's the link: [article link]

I've been saying this for years. Gummies are just candy with vitamins, and they often have inconsistent doses. Stick to whole foods or powders if you can. Magnesium from spinach or almonds is way safer.

As a retired nurse, I've seen too many kids end up in the ER from overdosing on gummies because they taste like candy. The warning is legit. Always check with your pediatrician before starting supplements, and never exceed the recommended dose.

Thanks for the replies. I'm gonna stop the gummies and look into other options. Maybe a liquid magnesium? Anyone have a brand they trust?

Liquid is better, but still be careful. I use Natural Calm for my kids, but only half the adult dose. It's a powder you mix with water, no sugar or artificial stuff.
