Hey everyone! I've been giving my kids the YumV's Kids Gummies (the multi-vitamin ones), and I was wondering if it's safe to mix them with their morning coffee? I know coffee has caffeine, and I don't want to mess with the vitamins. Also, is it effective or do they cancel each other out? Any advice appreciated!

I'm not a doc, but I've read that caffeine can interfere with absorption of some vitamins, like B vitamins and vitamin D. Maybe give them the gummies with breakfast but skip the coffee? Or wait an hour after coffee? My kid doesn't drink coffee lol, but for you, maybe just water or milk. Better safe than sorry!

I actually mix my gummy vitamins with my morning smoothie all the time! But coffee is acidic, so might break down the gummy before you digest it? Not sure. I'd say take them separately to be safe. Also, kids and caffeine? That's a whole other convo, haha. I'd avoid giving kids coffee anyway.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I was more thinking for myself actually, not the kids. I take the kids gummies because they're lower dose and taste better lol. So I'll skip the coffee and just have water. Thanks for the tips!
