Hey everyone! We're going on a road trip next week and then flying to grandma's. My kids love their gummy vitamins but I'm worried they'll melt in the car or get flagged by TSA. Any tips on storing them and if they're okay in carry-on? I don't want a sticky mess!

Hey! Fellow marathon runner here, I've taken gummies on planes tons of times. TSA doesn't care as long as they're in original packaging. For melting, keep them in a cooler with ice packs if you're driving. On the plane, they're fine in the cabin temp. I once had a bag melt in checked luggage though, so definitely carry-on!

From a holistic perspective, gummies are sensitive to heat. I'd recommend transferring them to a glass jar with a tight lid. That way even if they melt, it contains the mess. Also, avoid direct sunlight. For travel, I'd pop them in the fridge overnight before leaving, they'll stay solid longer.

As a wellness influencer, I've got a hack! Get a small insulated lunch bag and an ice pack. Keeps them cool for hours. Also, TSA is fine with gummies - I've flown with multiple brands. Just don't bring a huge bulk container, keep it travel-sized. And if they do melt, you can refrigerate them to re-solidify, though texture changes a bit.

Thanks everyone! Great tips. I'll go with the carry-on and a small cooler bag. @ZestZack967, good to know about re-solidifying! @LemonLiam335, I like the glass jar idea, going to try that. You guys are lifesavers!
