Just saw this study (PMID: 38234917) claiming that vitamin D gummies are way more effective than tablets for kids. But it's funded by a big gummy company. Thoughts? Is it biased or real? My 5yo refuses pills, so I'm hoping it's true!

Dude, always follow the money. If big gummy funded it, take it with a grain of salt. That said, absorption-wise, gummies can be better because they're chewed and mixed with saliva. But don't trust one study. Look for meta-analyses or independent ones.

OMG I love gummies! My kiddo actually asks for them. That study sounds promising, but I'd check if the control group used tablets or placebo. Also, vitamin D is fat-soluble—maybe the gummy base helps absorption? idk, just a thought!

Red flag: funded by manufacturer. Also, check the sample size and effect size. Small sample + huge effect = fishy. Remember the vitamin E gummy study that was later retracted? Always cross-reference with PubMed and examine the methodology.
