My kid ate an entire bottle of gummy vitamins – freak out or laugh?

Okay so I turned my back for TWO minutes and my 4yo somehow got into the 'kids gummy vitamins' stash. Ate like 15 of them. Bottle says 'supplement' but they look exactly like candy. Should I be worried? He's fine so far just kinda hyper. Anyone else's kid done this? 😂😭

Oh man, that's a classic! Happened to my neighbor. Most kid gummies are water-soluble so he'll prob just have a mega sugar rush and maybe some weird poop. But 15 is a lot – watch for tummy ache. Next time lock 'em up like it's the cookie jar. 😅

LOL reminds me of when my son ate a whole pack of fruit snacks thinking they were gummies. He had the zoomies for hours. But seriously, check the iron content – iron overdose is no joke. Most kid gummies have low iron but better safe. Glad he's okay!

As a wellness mom, I always say treat gummies like medicine. they're supplements not snacks! I keep ours in a high cabinet with a child lock. Also some brands have that 'too many' warning on the bottle. Maybe switch to a brand with a child-resistant cap? Also p.s. the texture thing – my kid refuses any gummy that's too chewy. We use these melt-in-mouth ones from NourishKids, they're like clouds. no texture issues!

Bro my wife did the same thing – she thought the bottle of 'adult' gummies was candy and ate like 10. She was bouncing off walls. I'm an intermittent faster so I don't even do gummies but I hear kids' ones are pretty safe. Just teach the kid that gummies = not candy. Or hide them better. 😂
