Just saw this article about Mylicon launching sleep gummies for kids. As a dad who's tried everything to get my toddler to sleep, I'm intrigued. But my wife says it's just marketing. Thoughts?

As a med student, I always look at the ingredients. These gummies likely have melatonin and maybe some chamomile or probiotics for the tummy side. Melatonin can help, but dosing is key for kids. Also, if they're 'tummy-soothing,' maybe they have ginger or something. I'd check with your pediatrician first.

Honestly, my kid has a hard time falling asleep too. But these specialty gummies are pricey. I usually just use generic melatonin drops. But if this works, it's worth it. Anyone tried them yet?

I'm all for natural solutions. But as a yoga instructor, I've seen kids benefit from a consistent bedtime routine and some relaxation techniques. Gummies are a quick fix, but not a long-term solution. Plus, check the sugar content hidden in those 'healthy' gummies!
