Sleep Week deals on kids gummies? What's the catch?

Hey everyone, saw this article about Sleep Week supplement deals and figured it might be relevant to our kids gummies category. Here's the link: [link]. Basically, major retailers are discounting sleep supplements, including some kids' gummies with melatonin. Anyone here tried these for their little ones? I'm skeptical about giving melatonin to kids regularly, but the deals are tempting. Thoughts?

I've used melatonin gummies for myself, but for kids? That's a hard pass. My 6-year-old would probably turn into a zombie. Plus, I've read that it can mess with their natural sleep cycle. Better to stick with routine and maybe some magnesium. But hey, if you're desperate, a short-term use under doctor's guidance might be okay. Just my 2 cents.

I'm with Adam on this. Melatonin isn't a magic bullet. My wife and I tried those Zarbee's gummies for our kids during a rough patch, and they helped a bit, but we didn't want to rely on them. The discounts are nice, but always check the other ingredients—some have artificial dyes and sweeteners. Look for ones with natural flavors and no high fructose corn syrup. Also, check the dosage; some kids' gummies have more melatonin than an adult needs!

I actually grabbed a bottle of the Olly kids melatonin gummies during last year's Sleep Week sale. They worked okay for my 8-year-old, but we only used them occasionally, like when he was too excited to sleep before a big day. The deal was good, but I wouldn't make it a nightly thing. Also, make sure to store them out of reach—they taste like candy and kids might try to eat more. Always follow the label!

Thanks for the input, everyone. I think I'll skip the melatonin for now and maybe look into magnesium or just stick with a good bedtime routine. The deals are tempting, but safety first. Appreciate the advice!
