Heading on a long flight + road trip with my little ones. We take gummy vitamins daily. Anyone know if these things melt in checked luggage? And TSA rules for carry-on? They're not liquids but idk. Also any tips for keeping them from turning into a blob in the heat? Thanks!

I travel a ton with my gummies (for me, not kids, but same deal). Never had them melt in carry-on, but I keep them in a cool bag or insulated pouch just in case. TSA doesn't bat an eye – they're solid, not gels. For road trips, avoid leaving them in a hot car. I throw a reusable ice pack in my bag if it's scorching. Should be fine!

Pro tip: take them out of the big bottle and use a small pill organizer or ziplock. Saves space and you don't risk the whole bottle melting into one giant gummy lol. I've done that on hikes and no issues – just keep them in a shaded spot in your pack. Oh and if they do get a lil soft, pop 'em in the fridge for a bit, they firm right back up.

I fly with gummies all the time (IF friendly brands). Never had a problem with TSA, they don't even look twice. Melting? I've had them sweat a bit on a hot airport tarmac but didn't turn to liquid. Honestly just keep them in your personal bag, not checked. I'd say don't worry too much – gummies are pretty stable unless it's like 100°F+ for hours.
