Just saw this article about the UK warning on melatonin in children's gummies. I've been giving my kid a 'sleep support' gummy for months. Should I be worried? What do you all think? Link: [URL]

Honestly, I'm not surprised. I've always been skeptical about those 'calm' or 'sleep' gummies for kids. They're not regulated like medicine, so who knows what's really in them? I stick with good old-fashioned bedtime routines. Better safe than sorry.

I don't have kids but I use melatonin myself occasionally. It's not a joke. The dose matters a lot. Kids are small – even a tiny amount can mess with their natural production. The UK is right to warn. I'd toss any gummies with melatonin for sure.

Yikes, that's scary. I've been giving my toddler a vitamin D gummy with no melatonin, but this makes me want to double-check all labels. The article says some brands might not list it? That's deceptive. I'm going to look for more transparent brands from now on.

Thanks everyone. I'm definitely ditching the sleep gummies. I'll talk to my pediatrician about natural alternatives. It's just hard when you're desperate for a good night's sleep for the whole family.
