Are liquid vitamins like Liquid I.V. actually good?

Just saw this news about Liquid I.V. sponsoring some tour. Honestly, I'm a gummy guy myself – those little chews bring me back to my childhood. But I've seen folks rave about Liquid I.V. for hydration. Anyone here tried it? Is it worth switching from my gummies?

Liquid I.V. is a solid hydration multiplier, but it's not really a vitamin replacement. I use it when I'm doing long fasts or heavy workouts. The electrolyte blend is good, but if you're looking for a full spectrum of vitamins, stick with your gummies or find a good liquid vitamin. Biohacker tip: check the sugar content – some of those packets have a lot.

As a retired nurse, I've seen patients get dehydrated quickly. Liquid I.V. can be a lifesaver for that, but it's not a daily multivitamin. If you're healthy, gummies are fine. Just watch out for the sugar and artificial flavors. For hydration on the go, I keep a pack in my bag.

I can't believe they're sponsoring a whole tour! Liquid I.V. is decent but it's not vegan-friendly? I think some flavors have honey or something. Plus the packaging waste is terrible. I'd rather just make my own electrolyte mix with sea salt and lemon. The whole 'functional beverage' trend is just greenwashing half the time.

Thanks for the insights! @KaleKen249, good point about the packaging. @ZenZoe288, I'll check the sugar. Maybe I'll stick with my gummies for daily vitamins and use Liquid I.V. only when I'm hiking or something.
