Ugh, my third batch of DIY gummy vitamins failed. Used grass-fed gelatin and some Vitamin C powder, but they came out rubbery and separated. Anyone have a foolproof recipe? I'm keto so no sugar syrups pls.

Bro, gotta bloom the gelatin in cold water first! And use a liquid base like coconut oil or MCT oil if you're keto. Also, low heat is key. I usually do 2 tbsp gelatin to 1 cup liquid. What ratio did you use?

I've had luck with agar agar instead of gelatin for a vegan option, but it's trickier. You need to boil it with the liquid, not just warm it. For troubleshooting, did you add any acid like lemon juice? That can break down gelatin. Also, try a silicone mold—they pop out easier.

Wait, are we sure making these at home is safe? Like, what if you mess up the potency? My kid got sick once from a homemade batch because the vitamin powder wasn't evenly mixed. I'd rather buy tested gummies. Just sayin'.

Thanks for the tips! @BioBob839, used 1 tbsp gelatin to 1 cup water, so maybe too watery? @FitnessFanatic801, no acid, but I did heat it too long I think. @LunarLily707, I get the concern, but I'm just making for myself and I'm careful with dosing. I'll try again!
