Kai Trump's Erewhon Haul: Overpriced or On Point?
So I just saw this article about Kai Trump dropping $$$ at Erewhon. I mean, I get it, Erewhon is fancy, but $20 for a smoothie? Anyway, thought you guys might find it interesting. What do you think about the wellness influencer culture and these crazy priced health foods? Link: [article]
Honestly, Erewhon is a rip-off. I can make a better smoothie at home for a fraction of the cost. They charge for the name and the 'organic' label. But I gotta admit, their collagen peptides are decent. Still, you can get the same from a high-quality supplement powder. I'd rather spend my money on grass-fed beef and liver pâté.
I've been to Erewhon once, and it's a whole vibe. But I agree, it's super expensive. For that price, I'd rather buy organic produce and make my own green juice. Also, those 'wellness shots' they sell are basically just expensive vegetable juices. I think it's more about status than health. Just my two cents.
LOL, Kai Trump buying overpriced stuff at Erewhon is just another day in the 1% world. But to be fair, if I had that kind of money, I might splurge on a $19 smoothie too. But for us normal folks, there's no need. I stick to my intermittent fasting and water. Saves money and my health.
Haha, good points all around. I guess Erewhon is more of a luxury experience than a necessity. But it's interesting to see how these trends influence people. I bet a lot of folks think they need those $50 supplements to be healthy. Remember, eat real food, take a good multivitamin, and you're good. Thanks for the replies!
