Headed on a cross-country road trip next week and want to bring my vitamin gummies. Will they melt in the car? Any tips for keeping them from turning into a sticky mess? Also, do TSA freaks out about them in carry-on? #travelprobs

I've taken gummies on planes plenty. TSA doesn't care unless they're liquids over 3.4oz. For melting, I put them in a insulated lunch bag with an ice pack. Worked great even in summer!

Hiking tip: I use a small metal tin (like for mints) to keep them safe from crushing. They might soften if it's hot, but usually re-harden. Just don't leave them in direct sun. Also, consider getting the liquid vitamin packs if you're worried.

As a digital nomad, I've flown dozens of times with gummies. No issues. I keep them in my backpack and just make sure they're not in a place that gets hot. For road trips, trunk can get hot, so keep in cabin with AC.
