THREAD: Weird side effect from my liquid vitamins - anyone else?Started by OrganicOlivia841

Hey everyone, I've been taking a liquid multivitamin for about 3 weeks now (it's organic, plant-based, from a local co-op). Lately I've been having the most VIVID dreams - like, full-color movie-level dreams every night. Not scary, just super intense and detailed. It's not bothering me, but it's definitely new since starting the vitamins. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Could it be the B vitamins or something?

Omggg yes!! I take a liquid B-complex before my morning yoga practice and I've noticed this too! My dreams have been so vivid I sometimes wake up feeling like I just lived a whole other life ๐
I actually mentioned it to my naturopath and she said B vitamins (especially B6) can affect dream recall and intensity for some people. As long as you're not having nightmares, it's usually harmless. Maybe try taking them earlier in the day?

lol i wish i had time to notice my dreams ๐ between my toddler and newborn, if i get 4 hours of sleep it's a miracle. but i did have something weird - my pee turned neon yellow when i started taking a liquid vitamin C supplement. freaked me out at first but apparently it's just excess riboflavin (B2) leaving your body. harmless but looks like i'm glowing from the inside ๐ maybe check if your vitamins have high B2 too?

Thanks both! @JoyfulJack33 that makes sense - mine does have B6. I'll try taking it with breakfast instead of dinner. @YogurtYuri124 oh yeah, the bright pee thing is real! Mine does that too, but I read it's just your body getting rid of what it doesn't need. At least we're absorbing something, right? ๐ Glad to know I'm not alone in the weird-but-harmless side effects club!

Exactly! The bright urine means your body is utilizing what it needs and releasing the rest - it's actually a good sign of quality vitamins! And the vivid dreams... I've started keeping a dream journal by my bed. Some of them have given me great ideas for new yoga flows! ๐โจ Maybe there's a silver lining to all this!
