Hey all, I've been taking these magnesium gummies for a week now (the strawberry ones) and I've been having crazy vivid dreams! Like, I'm talking full-on movie plot dreams that I remember in detail when I wake up. Not nightmares, just super intense. Also noticed my pee is bright yellow, but I think that's from the B vitamins. Anyone else experience this or am I just weird?

Girl, yes! I had the same thing when I started taking magnesium for muscle recovery. My dreams were so vivid I felt like I was living in a sci-fi series. It settled down after a couple of weeks. Also, the bright urine is totally normal—it's the riboflavin (B2) doing its thing. Gotta love that neon yellow. Stick with it, your body's adjusting!

Oh wow, I didn't even think about the dreams being from the gummies! I've been having super weird dreams too, but I just blamed it on the fermented foods I've been experimenting with lol. The changing taste buds thing is interesting though—does anyone else feel like your taste buds are a bit off? Like, I swear my morning coffee tastes different now. Not bad, just... different. Is that a thing?

Actually, there's some science behind it. Magnesium is involved in muscle relaxation and also affects the NMDA receptors in the brain, which play a role in memory and dreaming. Some people report more vivid dreams. It usually levels out as your body gets used to the supplement. As for taste, magnesium can change the perception of flavors in some people, especially if you take it sublingually (under the tongue) or in gummies. Also, make sure you're drinking enough water—the bright urine is typically from B2, but hydration helps everything.
