Anyone else get vivid dreams from magnesium gummies?

So I've been taking these magnesium gummies for about a week now (the ones with melatonin? no, just magnesium). And wow, my dreams are SO vivid and weird. Like, I'm talking flying through space with a talking cat weird. And I remember them clearly when I wake up, which never happens. Anyone else experience this? Is that normal?

Haha, yes! I had that too when I first started taking magnesium. I thought it was just me. But actually, I read that magnesium can affect your sleep cycles and make REM sleep more intense. So vivid dreams are a thing. It toned down after a couple weeks for me. But if it keeps bothering you, maybe try taking it in the morning instead of night?

Wait, you're getting vivid dreams? I'm getting the opposite. I take them before bed and I sleep like a rock. But I did notice my pee is like... neon yellow? Is that the gummies? I kinda freaked out but I looked it up and it's just the riboflavin or whatever. So no worries there. Dreams? Maybe you're just eating too much cheese before bed lol

Honestly, I'm not a fan of those gummies. I stick to the old-school capsules. But I will say, when I took a friend's gummy once, I had the strangest dream about being chased by a giant broccoli. Not sure if that's the magnesium or my own brain being weird. But if you're worried, just switch to food sources like spinach and almonds. No weird dreams there.
