So my 4-year-old found my magnesium gummies and now she thinks they're candy. She's been asking for them all day and I keep having to explain they're vitamins, not treats. But honestly, they taste so good I don't blame her. Anyone else have this problem? How do you keep them away from the kiddos?

Oh man, that's a classic! I don't have kids, but my dog once got into my gummy vitamins and it was chaos. Now I keep them in a high cabinet. For kids, maybe get a child-proof container or hide them in a place they can't reach. And maybe the texture is weird for them sometimes - my nephew hates the chewy texture, so that helps keep him away, lol. But seriously, keep them safe!

Been there! My 2-year-old thinks they're candy too. I've started treating them like medicine - I only bring them out at specific times, and I make sure to eat one myself and show her it's for me. She's starting to get it. Also, I read somewhere that some gummies have a gritty texture that kids might not like. Maybe try a different brand? I use the Natural Calm magnesium gummies, and they're pretty smooth. Good luck!

Ha, my husband is the one who thinks they're candy! I have to hide them from him or he'll eat half the bottle. One thing that helps is putting them in a separate container that's clearly labeled 'supplements' and not in the pantry. Also, speaking of eco-friendly, I now buy a brand that uses recyclable packaging, so the container is opaque. That way, no one knows what's inside. But seriously, talk to your kids about vitamins not being treats. It's important for their safety.
