Hey everyone, I just came across this study (PMID: 36578901) that claims magnesium gummies improve sleep quality by 40%. But I'm skeptical—seems like a huge number. Anyone else seen this? Is it legit or just marketing fluff?

Cathy, I read that one too! As a retired nurse, I'm skeptical of studies funded by supplement companies. Usually they overstate. Check the funding source—if it's from a gummy brand, take it with a grain of salt. Also sample size?

I think there's truth in it, but not 40% for everyone. Magnesium is crucial for sleep, but gummies often have sugar and bioavailability issues. Look at the form of magnesium—glycinate works best. I'd say try it yourself, but don't trust flashy numbers.

Good points, Holly and Pete. The study was small (50 people) and funded by a brand. Ugh, why can't they just be honest? I'll stick to my powder. Thanks for the reality check!

No prob! Always check the fine print. Magnesium is great, but gummies aren't always the best delivery. Stay savvy, mama!
