Hey guys, I've been taking these mag gummies before bed for about a week now (the glycinate kind). They definitely help me fall asleep faster, but I'm having the most vivid, bizarre dreams ever. Last night I dreamt I was a squirrel running a marathon. Not complaining, just weirded out. Anyone else?

Yes! I had the same experience with magnesium glycinate. It's a known thing - glycine can enhance REM sleep and make dreams more vivid. It's actually a sign it's working. I've read studies where mag glycinate increases GABA and improves sleep quality. The dreams settle down after a couple weeks for most people.

100% normal. I actually use it on purpose for lucid dreaming. The glycinate form crosses the blood-brain barrier and boosts dream recall. If you want to dial it back, try magnesium citrate or malate instead. Or just enjoy the show lol.

I'm jealous! I take the same gummies and all I get is bright neon yellow pee. Like highlighter yellow. Are my kidneys okay? 😂

Kevin - that's just excess B vitamins if your gummies have them, or the riboflavin. Totally harmless. It means you're absorbing the magnesium and excreting the extras.
