Am I the only one who thinks these "magnesium gummies" are just glorified candy? I mean, 5g of sugar per gummy? Might as well eat a spoonful of sugar and call it a day. Real supplements should be pure, not loaded with junk.

I get what you're saying Noah, but not everyone has time to mix powders or swallow huge pills. I pop a gummy post-workout and it's quick. Plus, the sugar helps with absorption, right? Convenience wins for me.

Actually, the sugar might hinder absorption more than help. There's research showing high sugar intake can interfere with magnesium uptake. Also check the type—citrate or glycinate gummies are better. But yeah, the candy-fication is real.

I'm a biohacker so I look for the cleanest options. Some brands use monk fruit or stevia instead of sugar. But honestly, if you're eating clean otherwise, a little sugar won't hurt. It's about balance, not purity extremes. Just my .02.

Balance? Maybe. But I'll stick to my homemade magnesium oil. No sugar, no fillers, just magnesium chloride and water. Gummies are for kids, not for serious supplementation.
