Magnesium gummies: candy or supplement?
Anyone else bothered by the sugar in these magnesium gummies? I mean, I'm trying to be healthy, but these things have 3g of sugar per gummy. Might as well eat candy. Why can't we just have clean pills?
I get where you're coming from, but for me the convenience outweighs the sugar. I'm on the road a lot for marathons, and popping a gummy is way easier than carrying a bottle of pills. Plus, they taste good, so I actually remember to take them.
Newbie here! I actually like the gummies cause they feel like a treat after meditation. But I'm curious, is the sugar really that bad? I thought a little was ok?
It's not just the sugar, it's the principle. Supplements should be about efficacy, not palatability. These 'candy-fied' versions are a marketing gimmick. If you need magnesium, take a proper supplement without all the additives.
Exactly VitalVince! And MangoMia, yes, the sugar adds up. I'd rather have a tasteless pill than feed my sugar addiction. But hey, to each their own. Just wish there were more clean options.
