My magnesium gummies turned weird – still safe?

Hey guys, I bought a bottle of magnesium gummies a couple months ago and they were fine until now. They've gotten really hard and some have a white coating. A few are even stuck together. Are they still safe to eat? I'm desperate for sleep but don't want to get sick.

Yeah, that's sugar bloom from temperature changes. Usually still safe to eat but texture sucks. I've eaten gummies like that and was fine. If they smell off or taste bad, toss 'em. For magnesium, try the glycinate powder – no texture issues and better for sleep.

Ugh, I hate when that happens. Honestly, I wouldn't risk it. Gummies degrade over time and lose potency. Plus if they got too hot, the ingredients could go bad. Just get a new bottle, it's not worth the gamble. Or switch to capsules.

Thanks for the advice! I think I'll toss them and try the powder. I'm just so tired of bad sleep. Do you have a brand recommendation?

I use Doctor's Best chelated magnesium glycinate. No sugar, no weird texture. Mixes well in water. A bit pricier but worth it for clean sleep.
