New study on Magnesium Gummies - legit or biased?
Just saw this study about magnesium gummies and their absorption rate. Claims they're more effective than pills. Anyone else think this is just marketing fluff? I'm skeptical about these 'studies' funded by supplement companies.
As a retired nurse, I've seen a lot of supplement claims come and go. Absorption can vary, but the form of magnesium (like citrate vs oxide) matters more than the delivery. This study might be legit, but check if it's peer-reviewed and who funded it. Usually, if it's in a reputable journal, I'd give it more credit.
I've been taking magnesium gummies for a while and they seem to help with my sleep. But I never read the studies lol. Is the study talking about a specific brand? If it's from a company, I'd be wary.
It says 'independent lab' but they might have industry ties. I'll look for more info. Thanks for the input, WaterWillow!
