Hey everyone, just saw this article about Sleep Week deals. They're pushing magnesium gummies for better sleep. Anyone tried 'em? I'm all about recovery, and sleep is key for gains. But are they actually effective or just a gimmick?

I've been taking magnesium glycinate (not gummies, but similar) for a while. Helps me chill out before bed, especially if I had a stressful day. But gummies might have added sugar, which I try to avoid. For a deal, though, could be a cheap try. Just check the type of magnesium - glycinate or citrate are better absorbed than oxide.

From a nature perspective, magnesium is crucial for many bodily functions, including sleep regulation. I've read that modern diets often lack enough magnesium. So supplementing can help. But I prefer natural sources like nuts and leafy greens. However, if you're deficient, a gummy is a convenient way to get it. Just watch out for the sugar content, as Sam said. Overdoing it can cause digestive issues, so start with a low dose.

Good points. I'm also into intermittent fasting, so sugar is a no-go for me. Maybe I'll look for sugar-free options. But I heard that gummies might have more sugar than you think. Does anyone have a specific brand they trust? And what's the deal with 'Sleep Week' - is it just marketing or are there actual discounts?
