Just saw this article about Sleep Week deals on supplements, including magnesium gummies. I've been considering trying them for better sleep, but not sure which brand is good. Any thoughts on these deals? [link]

I've been using magnesium gummies for a while now, and they've really helped me unwind after a day of hiking and shooting photos. Just make sure to check the ingredients for added sugars or weird additives. I prefer ones with natural flavors. The deals are a good opportunity to try a higher quality brand for less.

As a med student, I can say magnesium is actually great for sleep and relaxation. But not all forms are equal - look for magnesium glycinate or citrate, which are more bioavailable. Avoid oxide if you can, it's not as well absorbed. Also, check the dosage per gummy, you might need a couple to get the effective dose. These deals might be good, but always compare per-gummy cost to the actual magnesium content.

I'm a science geek, so I always dig into the research. While magnesium can help with sleep, it's not a magic bullet. It works best if you're already deficient. The deals are nice, but maybe check if you're getting a good form and dose. Also, some gummies have a lot of sugar, which might counter the benefits. I'd say try them and see if they work for you, but don't expect miracles.

Thanks for the tips! I'll definitely look for magnesium glycinate and check the sugar content. I might give them a shot with one of these deals. Appreciate the input!
