Hey y'all! I'm heading on a long flight next week and then a 3-day hiking trip. I want to bring my magnesium gummies to help sleep on the plane and recover after hikes. But I'm worried they might melt in my bag or the TSA might give me a hard time. Anyone have experience traveling with gummies? Do they hold up? And what about storage in hot weather? Thanks!

I've taken gummies on tons of flights, no issues with TSA. They don't usually care about supplements unless they're liquids. Just keep them in the original bottle to avoid any questions. As for melting, I've never had a problem in carry-on, but if it's super hot, maybe wrap the bottle in a cloth or something. For hiking, I'd put them in a small insulated pouch if you can, or eat them before they get too warm. Safe travels!

Good points Kevin. I'd add that for extreme heat, like if you're hiking in direct sun, gummies can definitely get soft and stick together. I once had a whole bottle turn into a blob. Now I put them in a small ziplock bag inside a hard plastic container to prevent melting. Also, keep them in a cooler if you have one. TSA rule of thumb: supplements are fine as long as they're not liquids/gels. Gummies are solid, so no problem. Have fun!
