Anyone else get super vivid dreams from melatonin gummies?
So I've been taking these melatonin gummies for about a week now (the 5mg ones) and I've noticed my dreams are... insane. Like full-on movie plots, waking up feeling like I lived another life. Not bad, just weird. Anyone else?
Yep, that's a classic melatonin side effect. Happens to a lot of people. Your brain is just processing more during REM sleep. Some folks even look forward to the crazy dreams. Stick with it or drop to 3mg if it's too much.
I had that too! But also my pee turned bright yellow? Is that normal? I thought maybe the gummy coloring or something. But yeah, the dreams are wild. I actually started keeping a dream journal lol.
Bright urine is usually just excess B vitamins if your gummies have those. Nothing to worry about. As for dreams, lower doses might help. Also, try taking it earlier so it doesn't hit your REM cycle as hard. But honestly, vivid dreams are a sign it's working!
