Best gummy gift for parents & fitness buffs?
Hey all! I'm looking for a gift for my dad (65, active but sleeps poorly) and my best friend (into CrossFit, but always sore). Thinking of a 'health pack' with gummies. Any recommendations? Melatonin for dad, maybe something for recovery for friend? Budget is around $50 total.
For your dad, melatonin gummies are a safe bet. I use the Zarbee's ones, they work well and taste like berries. For your friend, look into tart cherry or magnesium gummies – they help with muscle recovery. Try the Nature Made Magnesium Gummies, they're decent.
I'd also throw in some Ashwagandha gummies for stress – both could benefit. Goli makes a good one. But for your friend, if they do intense workouts, maybe collagen gummies? They're good for joints. Just check if they're vegan – some are not.
As a grandma, I worry about too many supplements. For your dad, please check with his doctor if he's on blood pressure meds – melatonin might interact. But gummies are easier to take than pills. I like the Olly Sleep gummies for myself, they're gentle.
I'm skeptical of gimmicky combos. Just get separate bottles: melatonin for dad, and for your friend, a good quality omega-3 (but that's not a gummy, so maybe not). If you must gummies, look at the labels – many have added sugar. Check out the New Chapter brand, they're cleaner.
