Hey guys, I'm headed on a 12-hr flight to Tokyo tomorrow and wanna bring my melatonin gummies to sleep on the plane. Nervous about them melting in my carry-on, and also TSA—are these ok? Any tips for storing? Thx!

omg I travel with mine ALL the time! Keep them in your carry-on, NOT checked (temp swings are worse down there). TSA doesn't care about gummies, I've never been stopped. For melting: I put mine in a little insulated pouch or even a ziplock with a tiny ice pack (the gel ones are fine thru security). Pro tip: take one 30 min before landing to adjust time zone! Safe travels ✈️🌙

TSA rules: supplements are fine in solid form, no liquid restrictions. But be aware: melatonin isn't FDA-regulated, so if you have a prescription sleep aid, keep it in original bottle. For melting: pectin-based gummies (like Vitabears) have higher melt point than gelatin ones. Check ingredient list. Store below 75°F if possible. Also, altitude can make them slightly gummy-er, but they won't turn to goo.

Why don't you just drink some chamomile tea and do breathing exercises? Melatonin messes with your natural rhythm. Plus those gummies are full of sugar and artificial flavor. Pack some raw almonds and a lavender sachet instead. That's what real travelers do.

KaleKen20 not everyone can 'just' meditate on a crying baby flight lol. I'm a flight attendant and I stash mine in my uniform pocket. No melting issues if you keep them away from direct sun. TSA never bats an eye. Pro move: buy a small tin (like Altoids) to keep them from getting crushed. Enjoy your trip, OP!
