Found melatonin gummies on sale at Costco - too good to be true?

Hey everyone! I was at Costco yesterday and saw their Kirkland melatonin gummies on sale for like half the price of the brand I usually get. Has anyone tried these? Worried the lower price means they're using cheaper ingredients or something. Is this a steal or should I stick with my usual?

omg i've totally been there! i tried those kirkland ones last month when my kiddo was having sleep issues. they worked fine for her, but i did notice they have a bit more artificial coloring than the natural brands i prefer. if you're not strict about additives, might be worth it for the price! i'd check the label for hidden sugars tho.

As a retired nurse, I always say: compare the active ingredients! Melatonin dosage should be consistent (usually 1-5mg per gummy). Kirkland's brand is often comparable to name brands in potency. The sale might just be overstock. Check expiration dates and third-party testing seals if concerned. Costco has good quality control generally.

ugh big box stores... i'd be wary of the sourcing. cheaper often means non-organic fillers or gelatin from questionable sources. if you care about sustainability, those mass-produced gummies likely have a bigger carbon footprint. i get mine from a local refillery - more $$ but aligns with my values. just my two cents!

Thanks all! YogaYara good call on checking sugars, Nina that nurse perspective is super helpful - gonna look for testing seals. Olivia I hear you on sourcing but tbh my budget's tight rn. Think I'll grab a small pack to test first. Appreciate the insights!
