Hey everyone, I'm trying to find some good melatonin gummies to give as gifts. My dad's in his late 60s and has trouble sleeping sometimes, and I also have a friend who's super into fitness but struggles with recovery sleep after intense workouts. Looking for something that works well but isn't too harsh. Any brands you'd recommend? Preferably something I can get online or at a health store. Thanks!

Honestly, I'd be careful with melatonin supplements. The dosage can vary wildly between brands, and there's not much FDA regulation. My cousin took some and felt groggy for days. Maybe consider a non-supplement gift like a weighted blanket or white noise machine instead? Just my two cents.

Oh, I buy melatonin gummies for my grandkids when they have trouble sleeping during visits! I like the ones with natural ingredients and no artificial colors. For an aging parent, make sure to check the dosage - lower is better. My husband takes 1mg gummies from a brand called 'Sleepy Time Naturals' and they help without making him feel foggy. Always consult with a doctor first though!

As someone who works night shifts, melatonin gummies are a lifesaver for resetting my sleep schedule. I've tried a bunch. For your fitness friend, look for ones with added magnesium - helps with muscle recovery. 'ZzzQuil' gummies work fast but can leave you groggy. 'Natrol' has a sustained-release version that's gentler. Avoid anything with sugar alcohols if your dad has digestive issues!
