Hey everyone, need some advice on melatonin gummy flavors! I've been using SleepWell brand for a month now. Absolutely LOVE their cherry flavor - it's sweet but not too artificial tasting. But I made the mistake of trying their orange flavor last week and it was awful - tasted like medicine mixed with cheap candy. What flavors do you guys recommend? Looking for something natural-tasting that won't make me gag before bed!

As a med student, I'd caution that flavor preference is highly subjective, but I can share some data-driven observations. The citrus-based flavors (orange, lemon) often contain more citric acid as preservatives, which can create that medicinal aftertaste you're describing. Berry flavors tend to have better user satisfaction ratings in clinical studies I've reviewed. Personally, I've had good experiences with mixed berry and raspberry varieties from Nature's Rest - they use real fruit extracts rather than artificial flavors.

Bro, I feel you on the orange flavor struggle! After my 5am Crossfit sessions, I need that melatonin to crash hard. I've tried like 7 different brands. The absolute GOAT is DreamZzz's strawberry-lemonade blend. Tastes like actual candy, not medicine. Plus it has 5mg melatonin which is perfect for recovery sleep. Their blueberry-pomegranate is solid too if you want something less sweet. Avoid anything grape-flavored tho - tastes like cough syrup every time.

Blessings, friend! As a holistic healer, I always recommend checking the ingredient sources. Many orange-flavored gummies use synthetic vitamin C derivatives that create that bitter taste. The cherry flavor you love likely contains real cherry extract! I'd suggest MoonBalance's lavender-honey gummies - they're infused with calming herbs and taste beautifully floral. Or if you want to stick with fruity, their blackberry-chamomile blend is divine. Remember, the taste experience begins with pure ingredients! 🌿

Thanks everyone! This is super helpful. DewyDaphne - good to know about the citric acid thing, explains why the orange was so bad. Noah, gonna check out that strawberry-lemonade for sure! And Guru, I never thought about herb-infused ones but lavender-honey sounds amazing. Think I'll get a small pack of the berry ones and the lavender to try. Appreciate the recommendations!
