Hey everyone! I've been taking melatonin gummies (10mg) to help with sleep, but I also have a coffee habit in the evenings. Anyone tried combining them? Is it safe? I don't want to mess up my sleep cycle even more.

Yo, mixing melatonin with coffee is kinda counterintuitive. Melatonin makes you sleepy, coffee wakes you up. You'll just be a jittery insomniac lol. But seriously, it's probably safe in terms of toxicity, just not effective. Try taking the melatonin at least 2 hours after your last coffee.

I'd avoid coffee altogether if you're using melatonin. Caffeine can mess with your natural melatonin production. Stick to herbal tea like chamomile or valerian root. Also, make sure your melatonin gummies are vegan - some contain gelatin. Just a friendly reminder :)

I actually mix mine with a small cup of decaf coffee and it works fine. The ritual helps me wind down. But yeah, regular coffee would be a no-go. Also, 10mg might be too high - try 3-5mg. I make my own gummies with melatonin powder and it's cheaper. Just a thought!
