Are gummy multivitamins just candy in disguise?

I just bought a bottle of multivitamin gummies and I'm shocked at the sugar content! 4g per serving? That's basically candy. Why are we okay with this? I get that they taste good, but aren't we missing the point of supplements? Would love to hear others' thoughts.

I hear you, but as someone who travels a lot, gummies are a lifesaver. I'd never remember to take pills, and the taste makes it a treat. Plus, the sugar is minimal compared to what I'd eat anyway. Convenience wins for me.

I'm with BioBob. I'm keto, so those sugar gummies are a no-go. There are sugar-free options, but they use sugar alcohols which mess with my gut. I stick to capsules. Convenience isn't worth the junk ingredients.

Good point about sugar-free, but even those often have weird additives. RhinoRich, do you ever worry about the long-term effects? I feel like we're being tricked into thinking gummies are healthy.

Yeah, I guess there's some truth to that. But honestly, half the time I'm eating fast food, so a gummy with some vitamins is still better than nothing. To each their own, I suppose.
