Are multivitamin gummies just candy in disguise?

Okay, I love the taste of these gummies, but I'm starting to feel like I'm just eating candy with a side of vitamins. 2g of sugar per gummy adds up! Are there any low-sugar options that actually taste good?

I get the convenience, but as a med student, I'm wary of the sugar and the 'candy-fication'. Some brands use sugar alcohols or artificial sweeteners, but those can cause digestive issues. Honestly, if you're healthy, a whole-food diet gives you better nutrients than any gummy.

I think it's a trade-off. Gummies help people who hate swallowing pills stick to a routine. But yea, the sugar adds up. I've seen some brands with only 1g per gummy, or you can take half a serving. Also, check for 'no added sugar' versions using isomaltulose or stevia.

Thanks! I'll look for those lower-sugar options. I guess I need to read labels better. It's just hard when you're used to the yummy ones, lol.

Whatever works for you! Just remember, gummies aren't a substitute for a balanced diet. And if you're taking multiple gummies, the sugar can exceed the recommended daily limit. Moderation is key.
