Hey all, I've been taking these multivitamin gummies for a few months now. I bought a new bottle and noticed they're darker in color and some are starting to stick together. Also, they seem harder than before. I know gummies can get like that if they're old or exposed to heat, but are they still safe to eat? I don't want to waste them but also don't wanna get sick. Thanks!

Been there, man. I'm always on the go so my gummies sit in the car and they get all melty and weird. Honestly, if they don't smell bad or taste off, I wouldn't worry too much. The vitamin content might degrade though, so you might not get the full benefits. I've eaten gummies that look like that and I'm still alive lol. Just check for any mold or funky smell.

I had a similar issue with my gummy vitamins. I did some research and found that color changes and texture changes can be due to exposure to heat or humidity, or even just time. The gummies are probably safe to eat, but the potency may be lower. If you're concerned, maybe contact the manufacturer? I know some brands have batch numbers and they can tell you. Also, you could always return them if they seem off.

It's a common thing with gummies, man. I learned that they contain gelatin and sugars that can crystallize or absorb moisture, changing texture. As for safety, I'd say if it's just color and hardness, you're fine. But if they're sticking together and you have to pry them apart, they might have absorbed moisture, which could lead to mold. So be on the lookout for any black spots or a weird smell. If none, chow down. I've eaten gummies that were a year past date and was fine... but maybe I just have a steel stomach.
