THREAD: Gummy Multivitamin Flavor Debate: Love the Strawberry, Hate the Orange - What Should I Try Next?Started by OP

Hey everyone, need some advice on multivitamin gummy flavors! I'm obsessed with the strawberry ones from my current brand - they taste like actual candy, no weird aftertaste at all. But the orange flavor in the same bottle? Absolutely terrible, tastes like medicine mixed with cheap perfume. I'm almost out and want to switch it up. What's the consensus on the 'best' flavor to buy next? Looking for something that doesn't make me dread taking my vitamins!

OP, I feel you on the orange - some brands really mess it up with that artificial citrus oil taste. As a taste-focused person, I've tried probably 20 different multivitamin gummies. My ranking: 1) Mixed berry blends (usually raspberry/blueberry combo) - complex, not too sweet 2) Tropical mixes (mango-pineapple) if you like brighter flavors 3) Straight grape (surprisingly good when done right). Avoid anything labeled 'fruit punch' - it's always a chemical mess. What brand are you using now? That affects recs.

As a parent, I have to think about what my kids will actually eat! We've settled on the cherry-flavored multivitamin gummies from Nature's Way - they're organic, no artificial colors, and both my 6 and 9 year old will take them without complaint. The texture is good too, not too sticky. Have you considered maybe getting single-flavor bottles instead of mixed? That way you don't end up with flavors you hate sitting in your cabinet.

I keep it simple - unflavored or lemon only. Less ingredients, less processing, less decision fatigue. Most fruit flavors are just sugar + chemicals anyway. If you liked strawberry, maybe try raspberry? It's usually less artificial-tasting than orange. But honestly, the 'best' flavor is whatever you'll consistently take. Flavor matters less than actually getting your vitamins.

Interesting discussion! I'm new to supplements (started during my meditation journey for overall wellness). I've been using a mixed berry gummy and find the ritual of mindfully tasting it actually enhances my morning routine. The slight tartness helps me stay present. Maybe instead of 'best' flavor, think about what sensory experience you want? Sweet for comfort, tart for alertness? Sorry if that's too out there - just my beginner perspective!
